Shoppers looking for a luxury vehicle have more choices now than ever before, but not every luxury brand is the same. If you’re considering a Lexus but wondering how it compares against other brands such as Cadillac, then Lexus of Lexington is here to help. Our Lexus vs. Cadillac comparison takes an in-depth look at the key differences that are important when considering your next vehicle and will help make your decision easier.
Lexus allows much more flexibility when guests want to add options and packages. For instance, should a guest purchasing a Lexus ES want a Surround View Camera, they would only need to add one option. With Cadillac, to add the same option a guest would have to select the Parking Package ($2,090) but that requires also purchasing the Premium Luxury trim ($4,290), Lighting Package ($600), Driver Awareness Plus Package ($1,300) and Navigation and Bose Premium Audio Package ($1,350). This makes adding a simple feature a potentially expensive decision.
Since the introduction of the first-generation hybrid system, Lexus engineers have continuously improved the technology to make it more efficient, compact, lightweight and powerful. These advanced hybrids deliver a variety of advantages over a conventional powertrain, including instantaneous acceleration and superior MPG without sacrificing the luxury you crave. As of 2019, over 1.45 million units have been sold globally.
Currently, you’ll find a total of 6 hybrid models in the Lexus lineup, including sedans, SUVs, and a coupe. Cadillac does not offer any hybrid vehicles at this time.
